Free Metal Show - 56

The 1st download for you to check out today is this recent sampler release from France's Listenable Records. The label has been bringing out some quality DM since 1990 and this free download is a great taster of what they have on their roster right now.

Next up we have London England Stoner/Doom Metal band Purple Kong, apparently these guys are actually 3 aliens surveying our planet!! They formed as a band in 2016 and have 2 EPs out so far...

Finally for this week from Limerick, Ireland we have Zealot Cult, this Death Metal band have been around since 2008 and have 3 releases out so far, a demo, an EP plus a full length from last year.

Dem Old Tapes - Part 37 - Vladimir

Here is a quick look at another of the old demo tapes from my collection. This week it's a band called Vladimir, a Gothic/Doom Metal band from Milan, Italy. They were around from 1994 - 1998 and had 2 demos and an EP out in their time. The tape from my collection this week is their 1st demo from 1995 "Lost in My Tears". It's album length though, so it's a pretty long old demo!!

Free Metal Show - 55

First up we have a solo project by a chap called Cody Maillet which goes by the name of Cryostasium. Based in Boston, Massachusetts USA this project started life in 1999 as Abhorrer before changing it in 2002. The project plays Black Metal/Ambient/Industrial and there are a ton of releases up on their Bandcamp page and a fair few of them are Free/name your price...

Next up we have some brutality from Scotland's Operation Cunt Destroyer. This Slam/Brutal Death Metal/Deathcore band were around from 2014 - 2017 and managed to put out 6 releases in that time, all of which had some 'interesting' art work and song themes!

Lastly this week here is some cool Cthulhu inspired Symphonic Black Metal from New Hampshire's Cyclopean. Born in 2012 this project is all the work of Caleb Hennessy who has released 2 EPs so far....
