Those fine folk at Pennsylvania based Relapse Records have brought out a great new sampler that anyone can download for free to check out all the great bands they have on their roster.
The regular annual label sampler highlights another year of incredible music from their eclectic roster, featuring the best dark and heavy music from around the globe. Ranging from death metal, black metal, doom, sludge, and grindcore to hard rock, electronic, synth, industrial, experimental, prog, and more, the sampler features over 30 tracks from metal legends like OBITUARY, DYING FETUS, INTEGRITY and INCANTATION to rising stars and sonic innovators MYRKUR, KING WOMAN, S U R V I V E and CLOAKROOM to new signees AUTHOR & PUNISHER, MIRACLE, GENOCIDE PACT, and TRAPPIST.

As always, the sampler is entirely FREE to stream and download however if you choose to contribute to the pay-what-you-want model, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Rock To The Future, a non-profit organization that provides music education for Philadelphia’s underserved youth at no cost to them or their families.
The label 1st emerged in 1990 cutting it's teeth with such great bands as Deceased, Suffocation, and Incantation and have grown from strength to strength over the years. There are artists of such a wide variety on their roster, ranging from stoner rock and hardcore bands through to grindcore and death metal all the way to retro thrash metal and doom.
Although much of the music released on Relapse is from bands in various punk and metal subgenres, the label has also released records from several artists in other genres, including math rock (Don Caballero), shoegazing (Nothing, Cloakroom), post-punk (Publicist UK), space rock (Zombi) and stand-up comedy (Brian Posehn).
The officially licensed reissues the label has also released also adds many other genres into their style.
