Another Friday night at the mecca of Metal, The Unicorn in Camden, London, UK. 26th of July 2013.
First to grace the stage was the one man death metal dynamo Regurgitate Life. Grey and Headtrip caught up with Sammy for a little Metal Perv TV special
Reliable Unicorn stalwarts Cythraul were up next, we've seen them a number of times playing here and in other venues around London and they never disappoint. We also caught up with Headtrip's long time mate and Cythraul singer Levi so they could reminisce and chat all things Cythraul
The 3 bands on this flyer were joined by two more UK acts on the night Blasphtized and Regurgitate Life but I am afraid I got there too late and missed them both!! Maybe for the best cos with the maximum brutality on show tonight I might not have survived watching all 5 ;) The malicious Maltese maniacs and the American aural assault were enough to please any brutal bastard
Damn I missed Regurgitate Life again and I don't think Engorgement were even on the bill in the end but I did catch Foetal Juice and the one-man-slam-sickness shows from the Netherlands' Anal Penetration and Cemetery Rapist from the USA. (Is it just me that thinks it amusing that Anal Penetration are from the Netherlands??)
Oh what could have been, the flyer resolution is a bit poor but it hardly matters as this that started out to be a real blinder never went ahead as planned as the 2 headliners Exhumer & Onicectomy had to pull out for personal reasons. It was still a good gig with a trio of Unicorn regulars blasting from the stage and Moral Panic opened the show but I missed them.
