I just wanted to make a post for my Heavy Metal Hangout mate Jake. You can find links to all his projects here so make sure you go and follow him, sub him up etc. Jake has chats with folks on his channel like Karl Willets (Bolt Thrower), Fred Estby (Dismember), John Walker (Cancer) and many more.
He also does a podcast now and again on Mixcloud, the link is down below.
He'd probably kick my butt if I don't mention his band Herbicidal too
This week I get to chat with LG the bass/vocalist from Swedish Death Metal/Grindcore band Belarus Beaver. Formed in 2018 these guys have 2 full-length albums released so far. "DAMnation" from 2019 and 2020's "Planet of the Beavers" that came out in November in Grind to Death Records.
This week I am chatting to this bunch of Death/Thrash Metallers from Bristol in the UK. They've been active since 2017 with a single and a full length album "Scorched Promised Land" to their names so far.
I've not been getting many views on these shows, either from the fans or the bands! I'm also not being sent any videos and those I do are all getting me copyright strikes! So, I'm not sure how long these will be continued. Send me videos if you want to be featured.
Today I am having a little chat with some of the fellas from KillerKorp a blackened DeathGrind band from Suffolk, UK.
Here's their bio from their Facebook page
"In the Winter of 2017 five like minded individuals came together to create the most raw and abrasive form of metal they could possibly conjure, music which expresses the Pain, Agony and Angst they feel towards the people who have wronged them throughout their lives. Resulting in aggressive and unforgiving live performances from the moment they hit the stage! Influences include early Slipknot, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse and many more."
So far the band have released an EP 'Pain' in 2019 and a single "The End" in 2020
This week I get to hang out with and chat to some of the guys from The Advent Equation a melodic Progressive/Death Metal band from Mexico. They formed as Advent back in 2006 but changed the moniker in 2012 to it's current form. They released an EP under the original name and have brought out a single and 2 full length albums since the change. Their most recent album "Remnants of Oblivion" was released in December 2020.
Here we go with another Vidcast!! 5 more videos from underground Metal bands for you to rock out to. I need more videos though folks, so send me your video tracks please. Only underground band stuff, nothing that will get me a copyright strike on my channel!! Also check out my regular podcast of course and my extra monthly show exclusive to my patreons.
We did another one of our Vidcasts, live straight to YouTube. Facebook and Twitch, you can rewatch it in the video above. I need more videos though, so send your underground Metal band videos in to me for future use. Here's the links for the band from the 2nd Vidcast, go and give these bands your support \m/
This week I am chatting to members of Vandr, a Blackened Death Metal band from Belper in Derbyshire. They formed in 2019 originally under the name Human and so far just have the 2 singles released. "He Who Saw the Abyss" and "Unto Múspellsheimr, The Realm Ov Fire and Void" from March and December of 2020 respectively.
From their Bandcamp bio
In the days before lockdown and plague, Vandr was formed by the dark minds of Gallus and Gritz during the ice-cold winter frosts of 2019, creating a unique blend of Blackened Death. With a grand history of witch burnings and riders in black, their small home-town of Belper, Derbyshire had now been covered in a new Shadow of Darkness.
So we streamed the 1st, of hopefully many, High Speed Hangover Vidcasts and it was pretty fun, we were testing out a few things to see what worked and I think I called a band by the wrong name at least twice haha and we found out that the sound quality playing direct from YouTube is not great so we'll be playing straight from video files instead. Get in touch if you'd like us to feature your band's video.
Here's the links to the bands that we played on the show.
Today I am chatting with members of Ygodeh, a Synthetic Post-Apocalyptic Metal band who were originally from Latvia but have since relocated to London, England. The band formed back in 2009 and have 4 albums, an EP and 2 singles under their belts so far. It's been a while since the last album, 2019's "Bunker 132", so it'll be cool to hangout and find out what plans are afoot for the band right now.
For tonight's chat I get to talk with Finland's Cannibal Accident. Playing Death Metal/Grindcore, they formed in 2007 and have a ton of releases under their belts. 4 EPs, 2 splits, 4 full length albums a compilation and even a couple of videos.
They just released their 4th album "Nekrokluster" in February on Time to Kill Records, so give that a listen and buy it if you dig their nasty noise. I am even on the album too, after winning a contest they put on through their Facebook page. I read out the letter that Cannibal killer Albert Fish wrote to the mother of one of his victims for the song "The Meanest Fish to Swim With". In a bit of a co-incidence, Fish is also known as the Gray Man which is pretty close to my YouTube channel name TheGreyMan!!
