Ave beloved Patreon supporters. Did you know that the word 'patron' comes from the Latin word 'Patronus', which means defender, protector, or advocate. It was originally used to describe a person who had the right to present a clergyman to a benefice. Over time, the meaning of the word evolved to include someone who supports, encourages, or protects another person or group.
