Another great event at The Unicorn, more thrash than you could shake a stick at but plenty to bang your head to. Headtrip & Rebecca filmed the 1st vid then Grey turned up and got some footage of the rest.

All in all a fucking great day/night of THRASH!! With the only downpoint being that Kremated had some problem and were not able to play in the end, which was a real shame as they are a very cool band.

Another Friday night at the mecca of Metal, The Unicorn in Camden, London, UK. 26th of July 2013.

First to grace the stage was the one man death metal dynamo Regurgitate Life. Grey and Headtrip caught up with Sammy for a little Metal Perv TV special

Reliable Unicorn stalwarts Cythraul were up next, we've seen them a number of times playing here and in other venues around London and they never disappoint. We also caught up with Headtrip's long time mate and Cythraul singer Levi so they could reminisce and chat all things Cythraul

Next up were Trifixion with Sammy helping them out on vocals as their usual singer was unable to make it to the gig

Finally Italian death metal maestros Natrium hit the stage for some catchy brutal bludgeon

Grey had pissed off home straight after the Italians set but a rather worse for wear Headtrip managed to grab them for a quick interview

All in all a great Friday night's entertainment

Blasphtized, Party Cannon, Crepitation, Pighead, Carnal Decay @ The Unicorn - 20.7.13

Another Saturday night, another great gig at The Unicorn, Camden, London, UK. A night of brutal slamming death metal featuring an international line-up.

The UK's Blasphtized kicked off the night in fine fashion with some guttural brutality

Then Scotland's finest sons of slam Party Cannon brought the slam party fun!!

Next up were Crepitation and me and Headtrip got some footage of them and an interview too. Check out this Metal Perv TV Special

Germany's Pighead blasted onto the stage next with a bang and a slam and an Earth-shattering kaboom!!

Finally to finish up an already fantastic night we had Carnal Decay from Switzerland work up the crowd into a frothy slamming mess, great stuff

All in all another fantastic night at London's best metal venue. I am already looking forward to two more gigs there next week, gonna be a blast as always!! \m/

Spawned from Hate, Masochist, Bludgeon, Gore, Aghast & Gout @ The Unicorn, London - 6th July 2013

This was the last of a trifecta of great nights at The Unicorn, Camden, UK. A Death Metal gig featuring 6 excellent brutal bands!!

First up were Spawned from Hate who never had their singer present as he has been held up by a major road accident on his way to the venue. So although you don't get to experience the full Spawn-sound here the instrumental versions alone are great to listen to.

Next it was the turn of Masochist to entertain the DM masses and they didn't disappoint with their brutal/technical mix

Essex's finest blasters of brutality were up next!! This band have been around a long time honing their uncompromising nastiness and were in great form on this night. Grey also caught up with them for a little chat/interview and you can see the chat/live footage mix video below. It was a bit of a hectic interview as 1st some psychotic nutter was marching down the street threatening people and then shit loads of noisy pedestrians kept walking past!! The interview and live footage came out ok though. If you don't enjoy this then you don't like brutal face-pounding Death Metal

Bludgeon

The next band Gore brought a bit of fun humour to the Death Metal party, interesting stuff indeed.

Aghast have been pummelling around the scene in the UK for a fair old while and show no signs of letting up soon as this video will testify

Last band of the night were Gout a band whose loud Hawaii style shirts matched the loudness of their music to a tee!!

So all in all a fantastic night of metal once again at The Unicorn, thanks to all the bands for putting on a great show and cheers to the promoters who put this bill together.

Merrin, S&M, Consecration & Horse Latitudes @ The Unicorn, London - 5th July 2013

For the 2nd night in a row The Unicorn that fine purveyor of beer and quality music provided Metal Perv TV vidcam man Grey with some delightful metallic entertainment. The flavour tonight was a particularly DOOM-laden one!!

First up came 
Merrin

Then we had some drone like sounds, unfortunately the vidcam decided to go on the blink just when they started to pick up the pace so you just get a looooooong drone intro here!!
S&M

Main support came from this excellent Doom/Death band  from Norwich. As well as some live footage Grey caught up with the guys for a little chat/interview as well. This was his 1st vid interview, (he had done plenty of zine interviews via email previously), and he was a bit nervous but it's still quite a fun and slightly informative bit of film.
Consecration

The headliners were Finland's Doom finest, we hadn't heard them before and I must say that we were suitably impressed, blown away even by the quality of their DOOMY stomp!! Check this out.
