High Speed Hangover - 361


Brace yourselves for a bumpy ride as this week is a theme show all about farts!! Need I say more? Yes, farts, flatulence, flatus, wind, gas, trumps! Call them what you will, we all do them and 1% of the gases in some of them stink!! Listen to some fascinating fart facts and hear some stinking fart related tracks here!! Age of Fire


Virginia Heavy/Thrash Metal band Age of Fire join me for a chat this week. First formed way back in 1988 they brought out a self-titled album that year before having a change of name and style. They then had a loooong hiatus re-emerging in 2018 and have released 2 albums since then. With this chat I wanted to get into the history and to find out what brought them back after such a long time.

Ultimata

Here's an interview with Ultimata, a Progressive Metalcore band based out of Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. They formed in September 2019 and just released their debut single "Voiceless" on July 24th, 2020.

JJJ Vinyl

I went and spent a pleasant afternoon in Loughton looking through a lovely little vinyl shop. JJJ Vinyl are Corona careful, so masks were a must, we popped into the carpark for a bit too to have a reminisce and talk about how the shop came in to being.

In this video I concentrated on the heavy music as that is what I am into but the shop has a wide variety of stock, tunes to match most people's tastes I am sure. Go check them out.

High Speed Hangover - 360

Woohoo it's show 360 that's a full circle of degrees of a show!! I don't think that means sod all but hey it sounds good... I think! Hey you know what does sound good? LadyAxe


LadyAxe, is the work of South African shield maiden and bear mother Natasha Danzig. With the aid of some guest musicians she has released 3 full length albums and a compilation so far. Now residing in Ireland I wanted to have a chat with her as I have played her music plenty of times on my podcast and really wanted to go into depth with her about her music and her literature writing.

Acherontia Styx

I got the chance to talk to Newcastle based Death Metal band Acherontia Styx about their project. They've been active since 2007 but only really took off with bringing out releases since 2019 with an impressive 4 singles, an EP and a full length album under their belts so far.
